CUSTOM PET PORTRAITS

The portrait to the left is appropriately titled "My Sunshine". My rescue dog Jackson proves himself daily to be a source of light, hope, and unconditional love.

When bringing home a dog, whether from a local shelter, far away adoption agency, or even a breeder, a person never knows what their new friend has experienced in their life. Some bare scars on their skin, some on their hearts. Well, this perfectly handsome little boy had obviously had some emotional and spiritual challenges of his own, in his short 6 months on our planet.

After literally years of training, bonding, and countless trials and errors, I am happy to announce that this little boy embodies the sunshine I seek when I wake in the morning. His portrait was a must have in my personal collection.

If you or a friend would like your own custom pet portrait commissioned, please contact me for pricing and further information. Prices vary depending on size and detail.

"Dogs have given us their absolute all. We are the center of their universe,
we are the focus of their love and faith and trust.
They serve us in return for scraps.
It is without a doubt the best deal man has ever made."

"Gobi-Goober"

A commissioned portrait of a proud rescue pit I have grown to love dearly through this painting. Her smile says it all. Thank you to the wonderful Liz S. for allowing Gobi to be my mascot and inspiration on many occasions. This painting measures approximately 12x16" unframed, and is an oil painting on canvas.

"Only the Best"

The above painting is a portrait of my boy Sparky, aka The Ambassador of Love. Taking inspiration from Miss Gobi-Goober, this painting is a depiction of Sparky's love affair with treats, biscuits, the sweet aroma of a T-bone steak and cubes of cheese, as well as the deliciously clean air you will find on Newport's wonderful Sachuest Pt. This painting measures approximately 12x24" unframed, and is an oil painting on linen.

"Patton"

Patton was a beautiful boy with a vibrant spirit, and was loved dearly by his human, Joe W. I was blessed to meet Joe through his work with the RISPCA and, as a thank you for his efforts to help some animal friends of mine, I offered to paint his beloved fur children. Patton and his family enjoyed many outings to Chase Farm in Lincoln which is the setting for this portrait. I can only hope that I captured Patton's wisdom, as well as the serenity they all felt together on their adventures on the farm.
